On November 15th, a grand cocktail reception was held to celebrate the 75th birthday of King Charles. The event was attended by the leaders and delegations of the Overseas Territories, including myself as the TCI Premier. It was a remarkable occasion where we had the opportunity to engage with the King and witness his great form and genuine interest in the territories.
As the evening unfolded, King Charles went around the room, speaking to each leader and delegation present. His curiosity about the current situations in the Overseas Territories was evident, as he displayed detailed knowledge of the countries he represents as Head of State. This interaction showcased his deep connection and commitment to the territories.
High-Level Meetings at the Joint Ministerial Council

At the Speaker's dinner, which marked the end of the high-level meetings, we had the opportunity to further discuss the current situations in the territories. These discussions were instrumental in finding solutions and strengthening the bond between the Overseas Territories and the United Kingdom.
