Club members, representatives from Wellington North, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) were present to commemorate this milestone.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their generous capital funding of $146,600, which played a crucial role in making this project a reality. Their support and belief in our vision have allowed us to create a facility that will benefit our community for years to come.

The journey towards the new ice refrigeration plant was not without its challenges, but through the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, we overcame every obstacle. Countless hours were dedicated to this project, with approximately 1,000 hours of hard work invested by our passionate team.
Our skilled ice technicians played a crucial role in the installation process, meticulously setting up the new system. They expertly ran a cooling floor brine through the concrete floor and carefully sprinkled water onto the rink, layer by layer, over a span of three weeks. Their attention to detail and expertise ensured the creation of a top-notch curling surface.
